New York: OZANEAUX ArtSpace welcomes Laurence Perin from Bordeaux, France, to celebrate Spring with her new colorful paintings. Laurence Perin’s Art has been shown and sold across the world. She is essentially self-taught, from the Bordeaux region of France (though she’s spent the greater part of her life traveling abroad). Despite being self-taught, her artworks are distinctly different than other kinds of Art one might find strolling about the streets of Chelsea today. This is because Perin’s art is geared to the everyday person. You, Me, Them....She takes pride in this. Her gripe with traditional Art/Gallery scene is that it makes Art unapproachable---the prices are exuberant and the potential clientele is thereby pre-selective. She’s exhibited at Galerie Tatry in Bordeaux, as well as the First European trade show on the “Maison & Objet” in Paris. With D.I.Y. (Do-it-Yourself) charm and determination, Perin initiated several venues, thru the years, including: Lez arts cafe art gallery/restaurant in Grand Case, Saint Martin, a platform for visual artists and musicians to exhibit their work to the public; Art Studio Shop in Barbizon, Paris; the Villa Mandarine art studio and gallery in Bordeaux France. In St. Martin, she created “Posters”, an artistic and commercial composition featuring the best entertainment on the island (St. Martin) and developed the concept in France with great success.Because of her proximity with the vineyards, Laurence has developed “contemporary wine art” for the past six years. She sells this “wine art” at the key events for major international operators in the wine and spirits sector, and every year is invited to exhibit with international Home expo and different vineyard Bordelais.“I use my experience and my energy to create new paintings. I explore a maximum of universe to never get tired of it. I am in perpetual seduction.
